The Cornforth Foundation for Chemistry

The Foundation for Inorganic Chemistry

The Foundation’s main activity is to sponsor visits to the School of Chemistry by eminent scientists, generally from overseas. As a member you will be invited to all lecture courses and seminars that are given under the Foundation’s auspices. The Foundation also arranges occasional meetings (and dinners and luncheons) designed to keep members of the Foundation, and particularly those members who are graduates in Inorganic Chemistry, informed about the activities of the University. In this way the Foundation acts as an effective link between the University and some hundreds of graduates.
